Andy Meller

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • Andy really inspired my staff to look on the proposed New National Curriculum in a very positive way. Everyone enjoyed the day and we are all motivated and enthused about embracing the New National Curriculum.
  • Confidence building reinforced “I am doing it right”.
  • Thank you for a truly inspiring and awesome Inset day you gave our staff.
  • Inspiration for change, but don't rush it.
  • All our teachers are not only committed but excited by the design of our new curriculum and are going to embark on a trial run after half-term.
  • The teachers would welcome a return visit so that you could see the work they have undertaken.
  • I just wanted to say how inspiring Andy was at the conference. We had a great day and I know colleagues thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. He is clearly a great asset to your team. Thanks again for helping me to arrange all this

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education?

  • Excellent. Delegates went away with a real sense of “yes I can do this”. Very inspirational. Thank you!

Hello Nicola,

I am writing to you to say thank you for helping to organise our training day at..... Andy lived up to our high expectations (and more) as you will see from my email to him. I have been up since the crack of dawn planning our follow up staff meeting tonight as I really wanted to maximise on the great start Andy provided.

I expect there will be an formal evaluation with the invoice but I wanted to get in first.

Dear Andrew,
I would like to say a huge thank you for the time and energy you put into today. I loved your delivery. If your ears have been burning, I’ll own up. It was me! I was talking to a headteacher colleague about you. I described you as a FANTASTIC and sensitive communicator. You covered a lot of ground in a simple, encouraging way which was spot on for the first day back.

I know you have helped us take a few more very sturdy steps on our ‘coming together’ journey. I have no doubt that your staff feel very lucky to have you. Your passion for making a positive difference comes across loud and clear. I do hope our paths will cross again. Thank you ever so much.

Paul Ashton

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • The staff felt the surgery in the afternoon was the most beneficial as they could talk to Paul about implementing the curriculum and the issues faced. Our staff really felt empowered after talking with Paul and we reviewed the impact of the day in our next staff meeting. We have clear steps to progress our curriculum.
  • Paul was scored highly by all delegates.  On a five point scale his lowest score from 45 delegates was 'Good', but the majority were 'Excellent' or 'Very Good'.  No-one scored him 'Satisfactory' or 'Poor'.  Some referred to him as being inspirational and thought provoking and from my point of view I got on really well with Paul
  • I liked how flexible Paul was in terms of meeting our needs.  It was extremely useful for the staff to be given the context of where the curriculum is heading nationally.  Seeing it in practice in Paul's school and allowing time for teachers to plan were the most beneficial parts as staff were very inspired by the morning's delivery and were able to share ideas and develop their own planning.
  • I found the whole day inspiring and it has given us a great launch into developing our curriculum.

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education:

  • Excellent.  All aspects of the process were first rate and I have already recommended you to a primary colleague in Liverpool, who is interested in the 'Creative Curriculum'.  Thank you for everything, it was a very successful day.
  • 10/10
  • From helping to meet our initial needs to the day itself we found the service to be excellent.  Paul in particular with his delivery and infectious enthusiasm made the day a great success.

Dave Smith

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • Staff from both schools found the day enjoyable and interesting, just what we wanted. There was a good mix of input from Dave and opportunity for discussion. An excellent starting point for us to develop our curriculum in school.
  • The day was a real success. It met the needs of both schools. Dave’s enthusiastic presentation inspired staff. Having the opportunities to discuss and brainstorm ideas was brilliant and gave staff starting points to use back in school. Ideas Dave suggested in planning a curriculum have already been adopted in our school.

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education?

  • Very Good
  • Excellent booking procedure, excellent service on the day and good follow up in place

Edward Way

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • Ed's input enthused the whole staff and will be referred to when we work on this area in the new academic year. We also purchased a range of resources to support the process.
  • Each part of the day was very useful. Edward included everything we asked for and ensured that he was putting the message across as a serving Head Teacher.
  • Edward was excellent all day.  He adapted the day very well to the needs of our school and provided us with some very thought provoking ideas.
  • Self review (time to reflect on own teaching), collaborating, team work, sharing ideas, inspiration for being more creative and daring, alternatives to marking, success criteria

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education?

  • Excellent, from start to finish.
  • Thank you for all the arrangements for the consultancy. Everything was organised, planned and it all ran smoothly.

Paul Newton

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • The most useful parts of the day were the real examples of planning and shared teaching experiences regarding the skills that the skills based curriculum follow. It was also useful having the time to discuss and share ideas with teaching and learning.
  • Staff found the information that Paul Newton shared a very valuable experience.
  • The whole day was excellent, with a very positive response from staff.

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education?

  • Excellent.  We certainly would be interested in using Chris Quigley Education again.  I have already recommended the day to four Headteachers.
  • Very good.  Very easy to deal with.

Claire Render

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • Simple techniques put into practice, lots of discussion between staff and reflection time.
  • Reviewing where we are, what we want to achieve and how to get there. Discussion amongst staff around the ideas suggested. For younger less experienced staff the clarification of what ‘personalizing learning’ means in reality. Handouts for future reference/suggested literature for purchase.

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education?

  • A very enjoyable and worthwhile day. It invited lots of discussion and excitement amongst staff and has given us further impetus to move forward. Thank you!
  • Very good value for money.

Will Ryan

What were the most useful parts of the day?

  • All of it. We were motivated and inspired by Will and intend to use him again.
  • On both occasions the sessions were planned meticulously to meet the needs of the staff and our requirements. Both days entertaining with lots taken from the sessions.
  • There was a very good mix between group work, individual thought time and presentation.
  • The most useful part was staff having the opportunity to reflect on present practice and how the school needs to change and move forward towards a skills based curriculum.

Overall, how would you rate the quality of your booking with Chris Quigley Education?

  • Staff were very impressed with Will, his knowledge and experience.  It is certainly one of the better INSET days provided by an outside provider.  Within the context of our day, there was nothing I would have changed.
  • Excellent - helpful from the very first communication.
  • Very good.
