Outstanding Teaching for Ofsted 2012 Chris Quigley

What makes teaching outstanding? During this one-day conference Chris will help you to understand the key features of outstanding teaching in the context of the Ofsted 2012 framework. By using his new and unique system of evaluating teaching, ‘Learning Lenses’ Chris will help you to plan for and sharpen your focus on learning. The lenses highlight areas including ‘Assessment’, 'Checking' Marking"‘Basic Skills’, ‘Attitudes’ and ‘Teaching’. Outstanding teaching is underpinned by accurate assessment and Chris will help delegates to consider staff strengths in other areas across the school and highlight where subject knowledge could be improved. This course is to help Teachers and Teaching Assistants plan for outstanding lessons.
