Curriculum Quest: Preparing for the new National Curriculum Chris Quigley

Chris Quigley introduces a one-day conference for primary school leaders that shares the latest information and implications of the National Curriculum review and will explore the opportunities and challenges this presents. With proposals to make curriculum content slimmer and with greater school control, Chris will help you to begin to plan for greater freedom along with increased accountability. We will explore some of the possibilities for ICT and DT whilst giving you time to think about the overall design of your curriculum.

The day will also help you to evaluate your curriculum in light of the current Ofsted framework. Chris will look at practical mapping exercises to ensure statutory coverage is met and give reasons to revolutionise learning to ensure that all children become creative, enterprising problem solvers, equipped for life in the 21st Century.
